Maybe Blogging Will Help

Monday, May 17, 2010

Okay, my routine seems to be the same so maybe if I start blogging I can hold myself responsible and it will help me reach the goals that I have been chasing forever. I "try" to get my workout in and I usually get 3-4 days in for sure but like does seem to get in the way and I am a girl who likes her sleep! : )
Ideally I would like to get up at 5 am Mon-Fri and get running either outside or on my treadmill then lift on certain nights of the week. I am like most women these days and have a very hectic schedule with working full times and having a son in traveling everything which right now is baseball and a younger one in soccer time is hard to find between all their games and practices and work but it can not be an excuse.
Now with the pure honesty emoticon my husband does the cooking and laughs at me for weighing and measuring everything, however I can handle this. He also does the cooking and does not cook light...he cooks for the flavor and if I don't eat with them I think he takes it as an insult. Then living next door to your best friend has it's downfalls as well. Being best friends with two groups of wonderful people that like to drink a few nights a week can be hard because when I drink....my hunger for salty snacks come out. Luckily baseball keeps us too busy for some of the nights of "just having a few".
I am going to start posting what I do as of exercise or lack of in hopes of support and motivation from all of you...wish me luck and always-be honest with me.

Good luck...I remember those days...it's also hard to cook healthy food when you are on the go all day long!! Enjoy though my son is almost 20 and I'm not sure where the years went! emoticon
