I knew last weekend was going to be hectic but I did not realize how tiring it would be. My son had a baseball tournament about 1/2 away. Sat we left the house at 7:30 am - I packed some sandwiches and fruit and went on our way but man was it HOT!! After his first game I decided he deserved to go somewhere with air to eat lunch since we had time to kill before his next game. We went to Red Lobster and I did pretty well, drank my water, got the lunch grilled shrimp skewer meal that came with broccoli and rice pilaf and I only ate 1/2 a biscuit when I would normally have at least 2 (my hubby at all of our sandwiches at the late game
). Then back to sit in the sun and drank some water but I am sure not enough. We got home a little after 6:00 pm and as I was unloading the car friends we had not seen in about 8 years happened to drive by at that exact moment and came in. Then we had to go to our friend's daughter birthday party. Did not do too bad there either 2 tacos with corn tortillas, taco meat, salsa and onions. Just a few chips with guacamole and I probably had 3 vodka-crystal lights. In bed about 10:30-11.
Sunday we were out of the house by 6:30 am-was too tired to get up and pack food so we stopped by McDonalds where I ate 2 breakfast burritos and a coffee. After his first game we ran home but instead of eating I got some laundry done before we were back out the door for his second game. At the game I had some pulled pork without the bun but was starving by the time we got home around 4:30-5 pm. As soon as we got home my best friend and next door neighbor's party was going on so there we went to that and I ate-not as bad as normal but not great either. I probably had about 4 or 5 vodka/crystal lights that night.
Monday I was ready to rest but that did not happen! We got up and cleaned our neglected home and grocery shopped, and then I found out that my hubby offered to cook all the leftover brats my friend had left which meant 3 families were coming over to eat-brats and chips...
Tuesday-too tired to wake up and run so I slept in. In the evening though I did get in about 20 minutes of rollerblading and another 20 of bike riding with my 9 year old.
Wednesday I ran for 20 minutes in the morning and planned on lifting after work but my son had a school project that ended up taking up my evening.
Yesterday I got in 1/2 hour of pilates-I am trying to mix things up. I feel like I am getting bored with running and lifting and 1 class of turbo kick but I am going to have to find something because we had to cancel our gym membership for now.
Today I got up and got dressed but started doing laundry etc instead of running and tonight my son has a game at 5:45 then tomorrow at 9 and 11 am.
Soooo....I just feel tired, bored and frustrated because I am hovering here without change! UGh!
Plus side!!!! I think my eating has been pretty darned good this week!
There is my rant ** yawn** back to work although I would rather be sleeping...
Oh...and TOM is starting the visit!
