You already know this, but I just found out!

I've been struggling this year with Bell's palsy, and, as a result, exercise has been difficult. Some days I managed to walk in place for 10 minutes, but most days even that was too much, and, believe me, four months on the couch has done NOTHING for my figure. And even before I was affected, I had trouble eating enough calories without way too much fat. Can I help it if I like sweets and cakes and butter and cookies.....? Nearly every time I tracked my food, I would find that I had eaten too much fat, even on the days when my calorie count was low.
Recently I've started to feel a bit better so I decided to make a real effort to eat better today. And so, my goal was to eat at least 3 fruits and 3 vegetables by the end of the day. I stocked up over the weekend so I had lots of choices and no excuses. The results were amazing! I ate plenty of food; I don't feel a bit hungry; and at the end of the day when I tallied every thing up, although I was near the top of my calorie allowance, I just barely had enough fat!
Now I know you all know this because it's everywhere on the site. But somehow it never struck me before. I was eating all that fat as a substitute for the fruits and vegetables that I should have been having. And even more amazing was how easy it was to do.
Will it work tomorrow too? Only one way to find out....
