For the last few days I've been feeling really down. My shoulder has been hurting and I havent wanted to risk injuring it so I havent been working out. Yesterday I stayed home form work because of my shoulder and pretty much binged all day. I have no idea how to get out of this funk! Any ideas? Please? emoticon

    Hey IMREADY77! When we are down in the dumps its time to brush ourselves off and begin again- a new day- a fresh start.

    I had a horrible day last week over 3,800 calories and I could have kept binging but I made a choice to start the very next day and when the 'overwhelming' feeling started to come over me I decided to say no and go for a walk. If it was later in the evening I quit watching TV and went to my bedroom and read my book. Before I knew it the weekend went by without any binges and I got 30 min of walking in for a few days and got further along in my book I am reading.

    I know its hard to break this cycle but you can do it and you will get there! One day at a time and as one mention before not perfection but progress.

    I would suggest going to the doctor for the shoulder. He can put you on something to control the pain. emoticon
