Last Friday of Freedom

Friday, August 13, 2010

It's my last free Friday of the summer. Volleyball starts on Monday the 16th and school Monday the 23rd. So I've been trying to enjoy my last few days of freedom, but with so much to do, there little time to enjoy. I did get 4 loads of laundry done today and just have my bedding left to do this weekend. I went on a short walk with the kids and enjoyed the cool morning, too bad that didn't continue into tonight.
I have my first softball game tonight, and I'm a little nervous. I know that it's just for fun, but I also don't want to make a total fool of myself. emoticon I'm also really hoping for no mosquitoes but I know that's not even a realistic wish. I just hope they don't suck me dry before the game is done. emoticon
Have a great night and I'll spark you all tomorrow!! emoticon

DEET! I have sprayed myself so much in the past 2 or 3 weeks that I'm starting to worry about side effects, but it's the only way I can survive those pesky skeeters! You are an amazing Mom! Hugs!

Here's hoping the mosquitoes will somehow keep their distance, Sunny! I'm sure you'll do great at softball, too. Doesn't it feel wonderful to have gotten so much done? Everything's done around here, so I've got this weekend to head to the farmers' market, catch up on some napping and reading, and in general, just enjoy myself! DH is in the next room, watching TV :) - Sandi emoticon
