Survived Softball and mosquitoes

I was very happy about my performance in my first softball game. I batted 4 times and got to base 3 of those times, and made it home once. I also was "lucky" enough to be hit with the ball, THAT's RIGHT, I got beaned running to 2nd base. I'm still uncertain why they threw the ball since the hit was a foul ball and I was going to have to go back to 1st, but I have a nice mark below my left shoulder blade.
I have another game tomorrow at 3 and than the last game is Monday night. It's a pretty quick season, but that's good, since I'll be starting volleyball practice Monday morning. The best part of softball is that my team plays for fun not the win; the bad part, mosquitoes!
I did run 4 miles today and jogged another .63 miles. It was my first time running in 2 weeks and I felt pretty good, minus a little soreness from softball and my hour of cardio yesterday. I want to get back up to 6 miles, but I think that will take me another week. With school starting, I need to get back into my school wake up schedule. That might be a killer!
Have a great Sunday and I'll let you know if I get through this game without getting beaned.
