This is make or break time.

Well, I'm getting to the 2-week mark of my new lifestyle with Spark! Traditionally for me, the first two weeks of every "diet" have been relatively easy. I can put up with almost anything for 2 weeks. The 2 week mark is where it usually starts to fall apart. One of two things will happen: 1) I give in to some craving (say, a cookie), which turns into a binge, and then I let it completely derail me as I give in to failure, or 2) I gradually start giving up on the changes, doing less exercise, eating more calories, and making excuses along the way until I realize I am back where I started.

So here we are at the 2 week mark (almost), and I'm still going strong. No massive cravings yet. It's hard to get motivated to exercise, but I'm still doing it. I'm using all the motivational tools on Spark, and praying for strength to get past this point and really develop some life-long habits. I know I can do it if I just keep focusing on all the positive things that will come out of this commitment.

It's make or break time again, and this time I intend to make it.
