90 days left til my first half marathon

I have really been slacking lately. Just busy with kids and their activities and life in general. I can't believe that there is only 90 days left. CRAZY how time flies. I am really trying to lose at least 5 lbs but am really struggling with my eating while training. I am starving all the time! I am eating more then enough calories and am hoping that my body will soon realize that! I have also started a challenge for myself so that I can get some strength training in.
200 sit ups every day
as many push ups as I can get in...today was 60
I also got up early without meaning to (kids never sleep in) and I did my run early as my son was sick and not in pre school so it was my only chance. I realized how much I miss morning runs and how excited I am that the sun is starting to rise earlier. Next week I am back to training and going up in the miles. I am hoping that the strength training will be helping at least with inches and to make my core strong! Start a little and more will follow...lets see if it works.
