Rough month

Thursday, March 24, 2011

March has been a difficult month for me. I have been struggling with finding adequate times to exercise and staying on track with my eating. There has been so many distractions in my life (so good, so not so good) that I have fallen back into old habits a few times. It even crossed my mind to quit. The only thing that keeps me from giving up is my inspiration, my joy: my daughter. Every time she looks at me and smiles, the thought of quitting leaves my mind. I want to be around a long time for her. So, even though I am struggling and my resolve wavers, I am keeping my eye on my ultimate goal: to lose weight and play actively with my daughter. It may take me longer than I thought, but I know it will happen.

I'm sorry your month has been tough, but that's the past. Now you can look forward to the future. I hear such a good attitude in your words. There really isn't an end to this journey, but the end result in time with our children and grandchildren is well worth the effort. I agree with Happy. We are worth it! and we can do it! Janet

I love the last sentence in your blog! The excess pounds we carry on our bodies did not appear overnight....and although it may take a longer time period for us to lose it---WE WILL NOT GIVE UP!!! We are worth it! AND emoticon
