Sunshine for my son..

My son and his wife came for my brother's funeral. Rick just lost his dog Buster whom he'd had for fifteen years. He's been missing him a lot. He came up to me and asked me if I would give him Calli, my three legged dog.
I took Calli when she was 6 weeks for a friend of mine and I love her dearly but she's a puppy and hyperactive. My two senior citizen Poms (11 years old) did not appreciate her biting their butts when they were trying to relieve themselves and they weren't receptive to her trying to horse around with them. So it ended up that she had to stay in the crate most of the time. My boy Zacky is 5 lbs and very short and small but he was undaunted when she bugged him, he'd take her down. She probably weighs 8-10 lbs so it was quite a site to see. I hated to see her in a crate but I couldn't give her to someone who had other dogs. I love her dearly. My daughter, Kim, wanted her but has two big senior citizens (11 years) also. So I said OK and off Calli went to her new home. I will never forget her peeking her head out of the carrier and looking all around. She is beautiful. My son is wild about her so he went shopping for all the things he needed. While in Petco, my daughter-in-law said he carried her all around, looking like a proud father. They bought her a new hooded jacket and new toys and lots of stuff. My daughter-in-law sent me some pictures of her and I will try to find them (do things ever get lost in your computer?) and post them later.
