My first race!! 4 mile KC Trolley Run

I participated in the 23rd Annual KC Trolley Run!! Four MILES!! My official time was 41.30!!! It was awesome!! There were tons of people. The only glitch was runners were shuttled from the finish to the starting line on metro buses - as we were getting off we hear an announcement -"if you are anything but a white tag you should already be running". So after jumping off I am fumbling with my headphones as I take off running!! It was a scenic run through a gorgeous neighborhood. My daughter and coworker (who also ran) were waiting at the finish line for me. I have already entered my next 5k - Moberly MO Mother's Day
