One less commitment

The high school concert was great! The band sounded awesome and the director
made a point of introducing each of the seniors who were playing in their last
high school concert. She honored each of them with compliments on their dedication
and strength, plus "stepping up to the plate" to help the younger students.
The girls, boys and mixed chorus groups presented a variety of music. The selections
were fitting for a spring concert. The 12 girls had such a perfect match of voices. The
boys, about 18, had the power. But put the two groups together and it was hard to
believe how great they sounded. The choir director is to be commended. Just a few
years ago, the choir numbers were incredibly small.
Tonight is the FFA banquet and DS is running for president of the team. The other
candidate is his classmate and close friend. Only the senior officers vote and there
are 2 girls and 2 boys. It will be a tough decision as both are excellent officers now.
We will be taking GS along. DS2 will also be there so he will be outnumbered 3 to 1.
But he is 4 so we will have to be on our toes. Just kidding! He is usually a very good
Time to scoot. Have a great day and thanks for reading and commenting. HUGS!

That was a really good move by the director of the concert, introducing the seniors. How encouraging for them. You described the choir beautifully as well. I hope you enjoy the banquet.

I will take this opportunity to thank you for your kind words on my sparkpage and also for your many comments on my joke blogs.
