I just don't care

Thursday, May 05, 2011

I have been dieting below 900 except for one moderate day for 8 days and somehow I've gained weight. I care about what the scales say but eventually body has to conform to what I'm not eating. I will just keep on doing the right thing and eventually body will have to make a U-turn back to the right direction. I do plan on going back to 20 or less carbs to help my body to make the right decisions but I am not going to obsess with it. This is my life forever watching what I eat. I have the FAT disease and so far there is no cure, only remission. It's worth it to me.

Bug, if you keep on doing what you're doing, I'm sure that the scales will tip in your favor sometime soon. I remember reading one of the highlighted spark blogs a week or so ago, and the person commented on how they knew someone who had put in 4 miles on the treadmill for 3 months without losing a single pound, and then all of a sudden, they would lose about a pound a day doing the same exact routine. Sometimes your body has its own agenda, and if it doesn't want to lose weight, it's going to make it very difficult for you to lose that weight. But when your body is ready to lose weight, then things will become a lot easier for you.

Certainly one would not expect a gain. Please keep working on it and the scale will have a positive change.

I was just catching up on your blogs. I hope you and hubby are getting over your eye irritations. My hubby just got over pink eye - a first though eye ointment and penicillin pills.
