The treat that wasn't

I've been low carbing for years to keep diabetes away. It has the effect of giving one the strangest ideas of what makes a treat. Last night I was craving toast and peanut butter. I checked and I had enough calories left to handle a peanut butter toast sandwich. Those carbs tasted mighty good.
But the downside. I awoke all bloated at 3:30 am. Just can't get comfortable. I should have relied on the old tried and true slice of cheese or cup of yogurt or celery.
