So I made it through day 1. Today was Cardio, Lower Body and Abs. I counted all three as cardio on the fitness counter, because I was gasping and sweating like a pig after each one. :P They may not all be named cardio, but they all get your heart going like a cardio video. I took a really hot bath afterward so I could get the ache out of my muscles. I'm going to have to be careful with my knee though. Its still hurting a little. Too many squat and lunge variations, I'm sure.
I had to do my "before" measurements this morning for this program. I figured I may as well log them in, since I'd just taken them (and I forgot to on my anniversary date). I've gone down 5 inches on my waist and 2 1/2 inches on my hips!!! I knew my clothes were fitting looser, but I didn't realize it was that big a change. I bought new workout pants last week. I was wearing 22/24s and the new ones are 18/20s. I can't get too excited about that number, because I'm well aware that the only reason they fit is because they are stretchy Danskin pants. lol But I'll take it!!!
This afternoon, I did about a hundred crunches of different types. Crunches, twist crunches, bicycles, pendulums, all kinds of crunching! I felt like I had to do them. It was bugging me that I had 40 total minutes from the videos with warm ups, cool downs and stretches. I was SO close to that hour mark so I just had to do it! lol
