Cake tragedy :(

Monday, June 20, 2011

I hate what happened. I got home from work, got the cake out of the fridge and was taking the cover off. I know the cover sticks, so I should have been more careful.

I knocked the whole thing onto the floor. Before Taylor even got a piece of it. :( I feel so bad. She told me she's not worried about it, but I still feel crappy about it. I have Wednesday off, so I'll make her a new cake then. So much for birthday cake.

Its late and I've got to work tomorrow, so I'm going to bed. Have a great night everyone!

I'm really sorry this happened to you. :( Taylor is great to be understanding, though. She must take after her mom. :) Don't be too hard on yourself. It's an accident. We all have them sometimes. I'm sure the second cake will be awesome and everyone will forget about missing out on cake, the other day. :)

We all have those moments - that is for sure. Hope it works out better for you the next time. I am sure your next cake will come out as great as the first one !! emoticon

I know we already discussed this earlier, but I am sorry again that that happened to you! I think I would have started bawling like a big ol' baby!!! That really sucks, but glad to hear that she wasn't upset about it!!! Better luck on tomorrow's cake!!! :)

UGH! What a bummer! Don't feel too bad....sounds like Taylor understands. Although I am sure it is frustrating to put all that effort in to something and then have it all drop on the floor. Hope today is a better day for you!
