Aha! I think I've found it!
I have been so far off track for the past month and a half that I wasn't sure I could find it again. I tried with my last blog post near the end of June. I thought seeing myself side-by-side with my former self would help to show how far I had come and that the hard work actually does pay off. I just couldn't get motivated. I think I was just burned out. Unfortunately, with my personality, I'm either all or nothing. So I chose nothing for the past month.
I tried to use the excuse that I was traveling a lot and the fact that we had a heat index over 100 degrees almost every day. Really, it was just me.
Yesterday morning (with the help and encouragement of the Hubby), I got up early again for the first time in over a month and exercised! I also did my post-dinner exercise. Today is day two, and I exercised again this morning! Woot! I'm back to logging all of my food, and I was within all of my nutrition ranges yesterday.
The scariest part was this morning... I couldn't bring myself to do it yesterday... I stepped on the scale to see how much damage I had done. Eek! I only regained six pounds. I can live with that! Plus, it's TOM, so hopefully, that's a pound or two higher than it should be. LOL! I can hope, right?
Gonna lose these six pounds to get back to the 50 pound mark. That is 2/3 of the way to my goal. I've come this far. I know that I can do it!
