I got myself up on that treadmill

Day 278

I'm happy to say that I made it to the gym today and jogged and walked on the treadmill for 35 minutes, just like I was supposed to according to my 5K Your Way Rookie to Running schedule. I got shin splints! That's a novelty for a non-athlete like me. In any case, I just slowed down and kept going and it worked. It was tough making myself do the jogging and the weights today, but I did it and I feel so much better now that I have. Oh, yeah! This is good! Woo hoo!

    way to go! those shin splints may just be sore muscle vs bone pain. Hard to tell the differance sometimes. Keep it up before you know it you'll be running a 5k!
