Weighed in today at 185 -- the goal I had set for my birthday this coming Tuesday. Woohoo! Medication I'm on had seemed to make weight loss harder, so I had assumed that was all I could do -- glad body seems to be responding better at the moment.
I am SOOO excited for Fall. I've been looking up all kinds of pumpkin recipes. Since we are staying with a friend this weekend, I broke this one out: recipes.sparkpeople.com/
, a recipe for delicious pumpkin butter, at 22.3 calories a serving (1 Tablespoon). Made a small jar for the host and one for us. Not sure my servings will make it on top of something-- I may just eat it a spoonful at a time! Calories could be cut more by using Splenda instead of brown sugar, but I didn't have the brown sugar Splenda and didn't want to try it out for the first time as a gift.
