It's been 10 years, but I experienced a sudden blood sugar drop today

Saturday, December 17, 2011

Since going low carb, I've not only eliminated Type 2 diabetes, but my sudden low blood sugar episodes disappeared.

I had one tonight and it's been so long (about 10 years) that I didn't recognize it until it was full blown. I fixed a piece of toast with peanut butter and it receded pretty quickly.

I wonder if it had anything to do with taking Aleve to ease the pain of a swollen ankle.

I rarely take any medication, even over the counter. Maybe the 1 tablet was simply too much or maybe I didn't realize it had been too long since my last meal.

I had tha same thing happen to me a few times....I went to the dr and they said I was not eating enough and it was causing my glucose to drop.

Funny thing was I ate peanut butter on whole wheat toast when it happened.

I went on the Atkins diet in 2004 and dropped 100lbs and have kept it off, I do believe in low carb 100%.
