Well since I haven't been on here in many moons, I guess since today was my first day back to the gym I'll post today's activity and the rest and then start again in January with my monthly list. But first, I wanted to say, December 9th I had Gastric Bypass Surgery, the pictures are pretty cool. For a person who doesn't like needles or getting cut it really was a piece of cake (no pun intended). The first 3 days including the day of the surgery (in that dang recovery room feeling high as heck and itching from whatever pain killers they gave me) where the only times I had pain. The day I came home was the last time I felt pain. So I know for some they may be considering it but are too scared, trust me, at least for "me" its nothing. I had what I needed for after the surgery already here. At first the only real hard part was trying to get down 64 oz of water on top of your 9 oz of protein shake. But eventually in week 2 I started drinking more, and I think those sugar free ice pops helped some too.

I'm clear to do every except do weight training, I still have to wait another 4-6 weeks before I can do that. And I can take my birth control to regulate my periods after 6 more weeks.

So today I went to my endocrine doctor, everyone claims they are seeing results but my scale sure isn't and my scale and the doctors scales are reading the same thing so I'm not off... They say it takes a while. On Saturday December 24th I was 257.2 they claimed yesterday I was 255 but the scale "SAID" 257, they deduct 2 lbs for clothing... I don't think my clothes weigh 2 lbs but whatever.

So since I knew hubby wasn't going to be calling today after my Endocrine appt. I went over to the gym and here are my results for the day.

Walked - 40 min

Bike - Random Hill

Level 6 (I started off low cause I didn't know how my body would take being back in the gym)

Minutes - 60

Miles - 13.21

Calories - 282 (WebMD 818, SparkPeople 906)

Amph - 15.5

Arpm - 64

Oh I also start a little internship thing Jan 3rd as a receptionist and I have to walk up this road to get to and from the bus stop so there goes at least 20 min of walking a day. Mind you I have nothing to wear, I don't know what I'm going to do because my cute work pants don't fit yet and my "I thought they were cute when I bought them" grey with pink pinstriped pants are too baggy and fall off and don't have any belt straps... So this is going to be fun... OH and I have to find flat work shoes cause all my "shoes" are heels and right now my leg won't let me do heels more than half a minute. Anyway I hope your all doing well, I'll see how much catching up I can do tonight.
