Getting into the groove

Saturday, January 07, 2012

Well I think I finished this week out with a a pretty good start! I was in a dark gloomy place in the beginning, but it got better! I am currently doing Robert Fegurson Food lover diet free life program..It is pretty easy to follow and I am enjoying it. I am learning how to eat better and make wiser choices. I am currently also trying to stop drinking. I am proud of myself. I had a few drinks towards the end of the week. But stayed pretty cleaned for the rest of the week. The only problem was I had a headache pretty much the complete week..That was a little hard to deal with. I didn't exercise like I wanted to. But I am going to try and step that up this week! I at least don't feel that block anymore!

My family in New Jersey is still dealing with stuff. But I am going to be a support and not take their stuff on as my own. My husband did something very unexpected this week..He left me a note on the bed telling me how much he loves me. With an iPod loaded with songs that he said" makes him smile when he thinks of me". It touched my heart ! Some of them wee my favorite songs and I never realized that he paid attention to my music .. When he got home my heart melted a little when I seen him and he was looking at me the way he use to. Let me tell you prayer does work! It was exactly what I needed!!

So ready to get this party train back on the move!

That was so sweet of your husband. My husband tries to express his love to me like that but he misses the mark a lot. I know that he loves me though because he shows it in other ways like helping out and caring for me through my illness.

Nice thing for your husband to do. I occasionally make a collection of songs for my wife too. I started that the first year we were married (1979) when I had to dub records to cassettes. It is a LOT easier to do that these days! LOL
