2012 goals

I already listed these goals on another thread, but so that I can find it easily, I am posting it here as well.

Eat 5 freggies per day
Strength training 3x a week
Run at least 1 5K
Drink 8 glasses of water per day
Keep track of actual miles walked and run

Read through the Bible
Read through Proverbs 12x
Finish a Bible study with my DD
Memorize at least 2 verses per month

Praise my husband
Don't complain
Be more patient

Finish child #4's photo album

Progress so far, pretty much on target. Need to work on the water.

    Hi... just checking in! :-) making sure, too, that I've subscribed to your blog.

    So - how are your goals coming? You're doing well at keeping track of how far you've run so far!

    I set goals in January, but have had trouble keeping a structured lifestyle in the midst of a busy "school"year, ministry-wise. Today begins the first day of the relaxed summer months where my schedule is more my own now which allows me to work better on some of these goals.

    I use a lot of A Beka. I love their Bible Flash-A-Cards. . .and my little people do, too. I also have their readers, science, and history books. Their math is very agressive, and I love it. I started my kids reading with the Sing, Spell, Read and Write, though, and am doing a little Veritas Press for memory time. We do a lot of library reading for researching what we're interested in. I suppose it's an ecclectic approach. What sort of car are you looking at? My husband rebuilt his '99 Crown Vic last year after a deer hit him on the freeway. I wanted him to buy "new" (for us), but he loves the ride of that Ford.

    You're welcome! Your little orange person caught the eye and imagination of all my little ones here. And yes, there's a lot to figure out about the site. But I really like the nutrition logging. What a great tool!

    Thanks for sharing your list. WTG on being on track!! I need to make a goal list, usually have it done by now but have a lot on my mind at the moment!

    Sounds good. and way to go for being on track. As far as the water goes, can you keep a bottle with you and get through a certain amount in between meals? That is one of the tricks I have and it usually works too
