Mom Jeans vs. Muffin Top

Really? The dreaded "mom jeans" phobia....I say I'd rather see someone (including myself) in Mom jeans than see someone with the jelly/belly roll flabbing over the top of their chic non-Mom jeans anyday. What you say?

    neither. instead where things that fit properly and then they can flatter your shape. People think style has to either be frumpy or super tight. Instead things can fit.

    Mom jeans are terrible though. It's not the high-waistedness of them, it's the baggy, saggy, lumpen quality that they have. A well-cut pair of high-waisted jeans is classy and flattering, but so many jeans are dumpy looking if they are not muffin-top inducing.

    I think that is is a rare woman, particularly a heavy one, who can look good in jeans. I look for ones that hit about an inch below my belly button, and just make sure that my shirt is long enough t keep me covered.
