Has it really been 6 months?

Friday, April 27, 2012

Yes, yes it has. And I haven't made any significant progress. I've flip flopped between getting on and falling off the wagon for months. This past month has been the worst, and I've only worked out once the entire time. Still, I am fitter than I was when I last checked in on this site. I'm no longer walking, but running for my exercise and I can now run a 5k race without stopping to walk. Admittedly I'm still slow, but I'm working it pretty hard anyway. I weigh about 305 to 310 right now by my estimates, and I am not happy about that. I had gotten all the way down to 285, but now I've bounced back hard.

Needless to say, I want to change this.

My sex life is still a bit of a train wreck, but I'm also crossing sexual misadventures off my bucket list left and right. So, much like my fitness life, my sex life is having ups and downs, which is all pretty good in the long run.

My birthday is 87 days away now. Less than 3 months, and I think I want to make this a big push. I think that I can make massive progress by then. It's possible to drop 50 pounds in 3 months if I can find my old willpower.

So much more has happened and is happening, I'll be updating on all of it as I go. But for now, my plan is simple. Enjoy this last week as I go on a camping trip, then come back strong to make my big push for glory.
