Today I was evaluated by my gym for my 6 week fitness check. I started at 185 and today weighed 183 (and that crazy weight has fluctuated all over the place, never getting higher than 189.5 and no lower than 184.7 on the home scale, once a week) I tried not to worry about it, I stuck to the plan they gave me. My fat % went from 38.7 to 38.4 ... apparently not the progress they wanted to see after 6 weeks of 30-60 cardio 5 days weekly and 4 days/1 off of Strength Training. Then came the question, how do you eat. I told my new evaluator the same thing I told the staffer that he replaced, and he re-taught me some label reading tricks (some stuff I did when I lost the BIG amount of fat way back in 2009! ) Sigh, I was making very little progress because I was eating wrong for the ST I was given (no wonder I was hungry all the time!) I just thought it was the renewed exercises. I was feeling stronger but frustrated with the slow plod of progress.

Well, my hubby and I discussed it, he said, try the new plan for a few weeks and see how you feel! Good plan... except I am heading out of my house for a week of summer camp leadership in a few days! Yikes! Much harder to try something new when you are away from home and the gym! I will not give up without a fight. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger and all that jazz. Phew. I feel like I am starting over AGAIN!
LOL, at least I am never ever BORED with my life! What an adventure to start again, in the middle of craziness and potential stress... Friday I get my new exercise plan. Then I won't be on SP for over a week (no wireless at camp) but I will post my progress... eventually!

SuperHero Cub Camp is where I am heading. Wish me luck!

That is so frustrating! I know you and I know giving up is just not in your vocabulary! So have fun at the camp and don't stress yourself out about the food and exercise that just was not going to happen when you were away. sherre emoticon emoticon emoticon
