What a Hard Workout...At least for me

Tuesday, July 03, 2012

Hi All,

Always I hope everyone is having great success and in good health. Let me tell you this past weekend I slacked off and didn't workout. Yesterday my husband was off work so I missed my workout for the 3rd day in a row. Finally, today I dropped my daughter at school and hit the track! I was ready to get it on and burn those calories! I pulled out my ipod, put it on and it died on me. emoticon I thought I don't want to workout I have no music for motivation and to block out my negative thoughts of how, "I don't see any changes, and so on." I don't know about any of you, but it really helps me to have my music so I can workout and push myself harder. I said, "look your here you haven't worked out in 3 days at least walk the 3 miles if you can't do the bleachers like usual with your walking." I did my stretching and started my warm up lap. When I was walking that first lap I said, "Do you really not want to do your normal workout routine just b/c you have no music?", "Look where you are, you got this unhealthy b/c you ate whatever you wanted, is this really what you want to stay like or do you want to make that difference?" Also, I reminded myself how b/c of my normal workout routine I have recently went from a size 22 to a size 20w. It might not be a 20 regular, but imagine when it's a size 18 I can fit into. I said come on you can do this I will push you!!

I'm not going to let yesterday or two todays ago affect what I need to do today. Before I would have just said, "I didn't do it yesterday why do it today, I'm out of my routine so oh-well." Now all I can say is, "The past is in the past and I can never change what has happened, but I can change what I do today!" So as you can imagine it was hard to get through my workout w/o music (at least for me), but I did what I said I was going to do, I PUSHED MYSELF!! I did my 12 laps and 10 of those laps had the bleacher run x4. Total 3miles and 40 bleacher runs up and 40 down!!WooHoo I DID IT!

Until next time I wish you good health, happiness, and Love. Keep up the great work and SPARK ON!! emoticon emoticon emoticon
