Losing Motivation, Need Help!

I dont know why but im losing motivation. I want so bad to lose the weight by next summer, i wanna feel good about myself but i just cant keep myself focused on my goal. I need help and someone to talk to me who has been through this or is going through this.

    I didn't lose my motivation recently, per say, because I was still going to the gym every day, but weight loss wasn't my motivation. Sometimes you just get in a slump, gain a little bit, then lose it, and repeat. But that's ok. It happens. Just get back on track. Join a challenge! That's what helped me a lot. The start of this past BLC has really gotten me motivated again. You can also try writing down the reasons why you want to lose weight. That might kick start that motivation! Hang in there, you can do it!

    Keep thinking positive thoughts and maybe take some time to sit down and really find out what motivates you! I know for me wanting to be HOT is what drives me and becasue of that I find that when I feel sexy while working out I work harder. Try taking a pole dancing class or Zumba, I have found I really enjoy that!

    Also listen to sexy work out music that always help!

    Perhaps your goals, while attainable, are too far down the road. Why not set some short term goals that will be stepping stones towards your ultimate goal? For example, can you go one day logging everything you eat? Can you exercise at least 10 min every day for a week? Can you log into SP EVERY day? Can you drink all that water every day for a month? You get the idea. Little successes help to spur us onward. Rewards work the same way...set mini goals and have rewards to work towards. Fulfill the goal...give yourself the reward...just make sure they are things you can really do. Don't promise yourself the crown jewels if you (like me) are on a pop bead budget.

    We have all been through this. Keep your goal in front of you when you have these feelings. Go for a walk, read a uplifting story, eat a healthy snack. Remember we are all in this together. emoticon

    Going through it . . . please don't give up. I've been down this road so many times and I want to believe that this is going to be the last time! If I can do this, you can do this . . . right?

    I hope you stick with it . . . I really do . . . because if we can all stick with it, there will always be someone to tell us to stick with it when we get discouraged or become unmotivated.

    Think one meal at a time. One day at a time.

    Just just take your time! You can do this. I have to believe we all can!
