First off - mini goal #1 - DONE! Down 5 lbs (from when I started tracking again). My reward - a happy dance. I think I'll play Mandisa's "Good Morning" and get moving! (LOVE that song!)
I have been pretty down on myself for about a year now, and I have been eating my feelings like crazy. I think I just felt isolated and like a failure. Since I started my new job, I have been feeling much better about myself. I think getting out of the house has been good for me. I used every excuse in the book to avoid getting out with my friends because I didn't want them to see me in the state I was in - fat, depressed, and frumpy. I'm making more of an effort to be a better me now.
I'm on a streak of 1 lb per week, and I want to keep it up and hopefully improve on that. I am eating healthier meals, and now I want to become more consistent in my workouts. On those days that I'm exhausted from working till nearly 1am, and then have a long day of homeschooling, I struggle to motivate myself to exercise. Now that I'm getting used to the hours, I'm going to keep adding workouts to my week.
Things are looking up, and I'm positive that I can reach my next goal even more quickly!
