Blog#3: Start being honest with yourself about everything
What I am doing right
-I am sticking to my exercise program, walking 2 miles per day (first thing every morning).
- I am burning 211 calories with my walking.
-I am drinking 6 glasses of water per day this week so far.
-I am burning a few more calories at my noon hour monitoring job (at the school) which is one hour per day.
-I am keeping up my blogging even though sometimes I feel like I don’t have the time for it. I must be honest to myself and determined to do this (for the most part every day). Next week I will be gone to Whistler for 3 days so that will be a small hiatus. Will fill you all in on the highlights when I get back.
-I am trying to be kinder to myself, doing what I can do to find sufficiency in my day to day life.
-I am not giving up and being curious about what other things are available to exact changes.
-I am purposefully scheduling time with my daughters, doing batch cooking, once a month. Yesterday we made Meatless Lasagna. When I called them today to find out how it was they both said “Delicious”. I am going to have some tonight. Will check Spark recipes for next month’s batch cooking recipe. Then I will enter it into my recipe collection. If anyone has any suggestions for good Spark recipes for batch cooking let me know.
What I could change:
-I need to have a plan everyday that meets my needs for that day and does not overwhelm me.
- I need to remember that I am a part of creation and that life is not a forever thing so one must understand the meaning for ones life and fulfill ones purpose with the help of our Creator.
-I need to acknowledge that time is a precious commodity and celebrate more with my family, friends enjoying every moment and trying to leave a legacy of joy and comfort for those who are dear to me including myself.
( I think this is probably only a partial list of honesty but It’s a start)

    Really enjoyed reading your blog, full of so much positiveness. I appreciated the encouraging words you left on my blog a few days ago or maybe more, time gets away from me, when I was struggling, this week is going so much better. I think that's nice you do batch cooking with your DD's. Have a wonderful day.

    Lots of introspection here Myrna. I like the direction you're heading. Being honest with yourself is a big part of overall success. Life is a lot more than what we weigh. Blessings on you too. Be well.
