New Year! 2013!

Thursday, January 03, 2013

I am back. I have regained 35 pounds. Exactly half of the 70 pounds I had lost. Ugh! I do have to look at it in a positive light and remind myself that I am still down 35 pounds! I am determined to lose 48 pounds by my birthday in June. I will be 50! Hard to believe!

This weight is really hard on my body. I feel like it is killing me. It is hard on my heart and hard on my joints. I find it difficult to move and breathe. I am tired all the time. I have 79 pounds left to lose, and that seems like a lot especially since I have to re-lose 35 of those pounds!

So... this year I am making a few changes. I have decided to walk to all the places that I need to go that I can walk to. I can walk to work, to the post office, to the bank, to the pharmacy, and even to the market. This will help me with my weight and also with my finances, so win/win. I am also determined to get a handle on that as well and will use the Spark progam for that!

I have missed being here, and missed my friends on here. I am going to check in daily and use the resources here to once and for all lose this extra weight!! I also think I will blog more. I think it is a useful tool as well.

Happy New Year! Peace and many blessings!
