I have to be frank....I am excited about this round of BLC...and I haven't been this excited about a round in a long time. A lot of work goes into these rounds...so thank you ADM! I also need to thank our cappies for the Rangers too! THANK YOU!
They have done a lot of work and will continue to do so, but I too have to do a lot of MY OWN WORK!
I have learned thru my weight watchers meetings...it just isn't about setting goals...but how to obtain them. It takes work....planning and executing. I am ready...I am getting ready. I am aware. My past has been one of doing well...then...not...doing well...then not. It has taken me a long time to get where I am...and HERE I AM! LOL!
GOAL ONE. To lose every single week. It may be a POINT 2 loss...it may be MORE...the emphasis here is LOSS. How shall I do this?
My spaces. I have cleaned up my spaces so that my routines become habits. My refrig...my cupboards...are ready and raring to go! I realize that I may have to go grocery shopping a few times per week so I can have the freshest items on hand...for they truly need to be there. I don't need or wish to grab elsewhere because my stock is down. I also have to have meals planned several days ahead of time so that I don't wander off track for the take out options.
GOAL TWO. FREGGIES.....This week our weight watcher challenge was to add more Freggies to our day.....in every snack or meal. The Healthy Guidelines stress 5/day. Our leader gave us the homework of NINE! This has been hard for me. I have done it ONCE so far this week and the other days have been SEVEN. Seven is good for me.....a whole lot better than my usual FOUR! I have noticed...I am fuller and satisfied. When I THINK I am hungry, I grab a Freggie instead of junk. It is working. So...I PLAN on continuing this ROUTINE pass this week.
GOAL THREE. FISH......Many weeks I don't even have one serving of Fish. This week I had TWO...and LOVED it. I plan on having at least ONE fish serving per week.
GOAL FOUR......STEPS.......I would love to say that I would get up everyday and do a workout, but I know me. I know this time of year when it is dark and cold in the am.....I am NOT getting up at 430am to do this. Not going to happen...not going to lie to myself and then feel guilty that I failed. SO....I shall truly focus on my steps. I know 10000/day is the best goal, but ....I am going with an average of 7500/day for the week. I know I can complete this at work each day....6days per week so that my average will work into my rest day on Sundays.
FRIDAYS Just thought of this to add to my goals for the next 12 weeks. Spark Friend Joyce is on the Pixies this round and every Friday they must work on this. So.....no matter what......I am doing a 5K with her. (virtually). Won't be hard since this really coincides with GOAL FOUR.
TWELVE WEEKS.....BLC 21 starting Wednesday, January 16th. In many ways, I am doing this now....but .....
now my focus will be to do so for TWELVE WEEKS ...in a row...not here and there.....not ....THIS MONDAY...NEW WEEK......but NOW....
Not only are the ROSE RANGERS GOING TO ROCK! .......so am I!
