Wednesday, May 1st, 2013--New month, new plan, new goals

So, April is officially in the books. Crazy month, and the end of the longest 16 weeks of my life. Why do I say that, well, because I decided in January to do a Figure Competition. Yep, I threw my hat into the competitive ring for the first time, and yep...I'm hooked. Granted the prep time is really trying, but I like having the accountability to push myself with my eating and training to reach a goal. That being said, my next comp is October 12th. Training begins now, but I won't really buckle down on the eating until July or August.

The next goal, however, is our beach vaca on the 23rd of May. Basically, I would love to be where I was when I was on stage (weight and body fat wise), so I have a bit of weight to get back off...water weight, so no big deal. Anyway, I started a cleanse today and a modified diet to work with the cleanse. Lots of fruits and veggies, smoothies, fish, cicken, and eggs. I'm also starting a new workout plan...6 weeks with more intense workouts...each body part twice per week, which I'm hoping will start to make the changes that the judges want to see (more definition in shoulders/back and legs). I'm excited, and I can't wait to sport my abs and my new bikini on the beach!!
