Sunday, May 5th, 2013--Cinco de Mayo, and I ate too mucho...

Short, sweet and to the point... I have absolutely gone over the top this week! Every day has been close to probably 3000 calories, and I feel horrible to say the least. Last night took the cake...let's just say "fried" and leave it at that. Anywho, I'm up nine pounds as of this morning from where I was a week ago. I see now what they mean, and I knew and tried to be cautious, but that obviously didn't happen. So, now comes damage control. I'm going to look at my food tracker back in January and February, when I started prep for the shows, and see what I was eating and try to follow some of that I think. Basically, nothing but clean food...and no junk, from here on out. I know how I react to this crap, and still I eat it. Gotta get everything negative out of the house...go shopping today, and try to fix this debacle. Considering how I feel, I now understand completely why I choose to not eat this way. Tastes good at the moment, but later on, the repercussions just aren't worth it! Ok, now back to a plan.

But sometimes in that moment, even though a person knows this it is hard. Today is fresh, start from here. You've got this!

I always try to remind myself that a moment on the lips is a lifetime on the hips and as we age, it becomes more and more true. Sounds like you're implementing some damage control measures so I'm sure you'll be back where you were before this week in no time. emoticon
