I don't think I ever mentioned this..but I started going to counseling again and I actually am seeing an improvement in my daily outlook....and I am able to manage stress more easily. I originally started with grief counseling...but ended up going back to the counselor I had seen a few times in high school.

I think I've figured out that exercise really is the only way to keep me happy all of the time...which is a win/win for me...not only am I happy more, I'm healthier. emoticon

    Good for you for reaching out to a counsellor to get through this time. Take care of yourself. I have also found exercise keeps not only a positive spirit up but also gives me a confidence and forward momentum in my life, right from the first day I work out if I hav e been away from exercise for a while.

    Good for you. Sometimes we need to go outside of ourselves for help in getting through/over something.

    I know I have been suffering from PTSD for years and am just now getting the tools I need to deal with it. It's been like a giant roadblock that I couldn't go through, over, under or around . . . for years. Now I can see that I'm making progress and it's helping in so many ways.

    I hope you find relief and new tools/skills that will help you to thrive!!!
