Oct 18th Update

I probably should wait to blog about what is going on with me, but I will give a quick update here today.
My abdominal scan confirmed that I have two masses around my left ovary. What they thought was a fibroid is now suspect. I have an appointment with the GYN on Monday to discuss a biopsy. Biopsies of this sort require major surgery. I may have Ovarian Cancer. To compound issues, my brain scan shows that my tumor is growing and that we need to discuss surgery for that also. They will not want to do the biopsy while I have the brain tumor. Brain surgery is a very big deal and I would hospitalized for a long time. I would not be able to remember things like how to take care of myself, how to handle money, how to talk and eat.
I am not sure what is going to happen at this point. I will update my blog again when I have more info. I am still not able to eat, so I am not really doing SP anymore. I am really overwhelmed and I need time to process. Thanks for understanding!
