Cathy's Quilt

Sometimes the life we plan gets side-tracked by the life we are sent. It has been several days since I wrote a blog, although I did plan to write one every day which is a goal on one of my teams.
I am trying to finish a quilt for a sweet niece who started it when she was diagnosed with cancer. She is now unable to work on it and I just couldn't stand for it not to get finished. There are no more medicines to try for her so now it is just a matter of time.
The one thing I try to remember is that 20 minutes of walking keeps my mind and body able to function so I dedicate three (20 minute) times in my day to take care of me.
Now, what made the tears flow today was to learn that I am the "Shining Star" of the day and all you wonderful people are lifting me up today in ways that you can't imagine.
