So after a few days of eating not-so-well, I was kind of feeling down. I stepped on the scale this morning, expecting to see a little flux, but alas - I'd lost half a pound. Enough to reset my mood!
Then I made some awesome soup with turkey sausage and a ton of vegis. When I ran it through the calculator, it yielded 116 calories per serving! I have a hard time with serving size, that was at 8 servings but I'm pretty sure the pot will feed more than 8 bowls. I love when I can have a large serving of something with no guilt!
Next I had to go pick up a bridesmaid dress for a friend's wedding this fall. We tried on styles in January - which sucked. Any plus size gal probably knows the selection of styles on hand are limited in larger sizes. They had measured me at a 24, and I waited a while to order. I had already lost 10 pounds, so I ordered a 22 (against their advice). Well when I tried it on today, it was loose! I was able to zip the dress myself even. Kind of makes me nervous about the alterations later, but still felt great!
Lastly, went to supper with a girlfriend tonight at Perkins. I ordered off their fit menu, had whole grain blueberry pancakes with chicken-apple sausage and scrambled eggs (to which I added spinach and one slice of dry, wheat toast). It was DELICIOUS, I was full but not sickingly so, and I stayed within my range.
I also did a whopping 12 minutes on the devil-stairstepper today. Getting better at least. One day, maybe I'll lose the prefix on that one ;)
