Why don't God answer prayers

Saturday, October 11, 2014

There are times that God does answer prayers and some times he wants us to wait. So I started to pray more and more and I'm beginning to like it. The book that I'm reading is called Answers Not Promises by Mother Angelica. I read her biography who she became a nun and how she started EWTN and I got done with that book and now reading this one. Some how there is a lot I didn't know and how to treat people and now I know. She teaches a lot and shows how to do it. So taking her advice it has come in handy like our mother when she gives us advice we take it and it's for our own good and some time we don't. But when you need some one to lesson to you we can go both ways and take the best one and work on that. And when we pray to God we take His and I think His is the best and that comes in a dream and from that dream we understand cause we start using it and it comes out for the best in all of us. emoticon

A bunch of years ago, a church member says that God always answers our prayers. Sometimes He says yes, sometimes he says no, and sometimes he says wait a while.

Of course, part of what we are praying should be that God will help us know His will for ourselves.

God knows what you want and need before you ask, but he wants you to tell him your desires and needs. Sometimes his answer is "Yes" sometimes "No I have something better in mind" and sometime he says "Wait" Trust in his will for you. When you pray pray as our Lord did in the Garden when he said to His Father..."not my will but thine be done." He has promised us that we will have everything we need and that He is always with us. God bless you. Be patient. Our Father knows the best things and times for us. Judy

God answers our prayers according to His will. Sometimes our prayers are for things not good for us or others. Prayers are for praise as well as desires of the heart. God always knows our heart, our mind and all there is to know about us! Praise God always! emoticon

God's timing isn't our timing. He answers when He knows you will be ready for it. He knows what is best for us.

God is a very wise Father and when it is that you think He is not answering your prayer, maybe He is just with holding something we don't really need. In due time we will understand why we didn't get what we prayed for this has happened to me many times over and I have learned to trust in God's infinite wisdom.
