Our daughter and I went to look at more wedding dresses, this time in Clinton, and she tried on quite a few. There was one in particular that looked so nice on her, and she actually liked it a lot.
She's waiting to go to David's Bridal in Madison on Saturday before definitely deciding, but with this one, she can have it altered any way she wants. therefore she can make it different than anyone else's at little or no cost, and the hemming is free. I love to see her trying on all these beautiful gowns, and I know, when she sees the right dress, she'll know it.
That's the one thing that kind of got me with the saleslady; I said that to Brande when she tried on the one dress, and then heard the woman say "no, that's not right, not everyone is like that, they don't all "know" the dress when they see it". I just thought..really? You don't look at a dress and know it's the one you want? hmmm.
Oh well, moving forward. Here's a peek at the dress she really loved.
Checking on the waist:
Another side view:
This is the back, obviously, the train is see through, so the grass when she's walking, sill be seen through it, and the crystals run all around the train:
Side view over shoulder:
She wants to have a corset back on the dress; the front with a more "sweetheart" shape; and she will have the jeweled belt on the dress as you can see in some of these.
And these are the boots, but I added the teal gems (which I'll have to do once we get them, as they come without the teal gems):
And this is Brande out deer hunting tonight:
I have such a beautiful daughter (and I have a handsome son, too, but I'm prejudice *L*).
