Don't sleep on...

Remember Turbo Jam? That was my old school treat this morning. Cardio Party 3. Not that it's THAT old but it was the first workout program that I fell in love with enough to do consistently and lost a ton of weight with. SO much fun.

Since I accelerated to Turbo Fire they (Turbo Jam DVDs) have been sitting lonely on my shelf but today's workout reminded me that they are not to be slept on. I did it with the weighted gloves and it still can be a very good intermediate workout for me. Not to mention the ab work throughout. I forgot that's how I got my six pack back in the day emoticon .

It made me think of how many of my DVDs get shelved because they are not part of the particular program or rotation I'm doing at the time. With my propensity for boredom, that's a shame so I'm go through my collection and devise a 'favorites' list.

I'll just mix and match all my DVD's into one giant boredom free program! That will shake off the recent 'blah' that seems to have descended on my workout room. I think I'm officially 'programmed' out. Cardio Party 3 is definitely going on the list emoticon.

    ... there you go... sounds like a plan!... I think I should do that too... not only for the boredom factor, but it will help me get through the "MANY" dvd workouts that I have, and like!

    ... I love Turbo Jam and Fire and they have both been side-lined... I recently dusted Turbo Fire off for the HIIT's ...

    Love, love, love it! Keep up the good work...and don't count out those "oldies". They are wonderful as fillers and as when you know you should be working out but without all the experimentation. With the oldies, you know how to do the steps and where you left off, so if you want to use 15 lbs weights this time versus the 10 or 5 you have a better idea what will work. Can you tell I love my oldies? emoticon
