We have gotten so much snow and the temperatures have been below zero so often this month that I'm happily saying goodby to February. I am thankful that I've stuck it out with my small goals that I began in January. There was a bad two weeks when I was ill, but at least I brushed that aside and got back to it. I have been getting more exercise in with my recumbent bike and each month I add a little more time. I didn't even wait until tomorrow to add my additional time I added it today. I have also increased the intensity if the program. So that small goal is accomplished. Now I need to add strength training a couple of times a week. This is a hard one for me to stick with so I will start with twice a week and move up from there.
Food is another issue to be tackled. I am still working on the eating slower. It isn't easy since it is a life long problem I've had with eating way to fast. I am getting better and trying to remember to set the utensil down and take sips of water throughout the meal. My water intake is wonderful since it is my main drink during the day. I have also added more fruits and vegetables to my daily diet. Which reminds me I need to get carrots for my hummus.
