It has been about three weeks since my last blog post. I am still going strong. The junk food is still in my house and I have not touched any of it - cookies, chips, cupcakes cookie cake, Reese's, M&Ms, etc. I don't feel tempted at all, and it feels awesome! I'm still struggling with portion control at dinner. That is the one thing I've always, and probably will, struggle with. However, I'm running most days of the week and I look forward to exercising again. Sunday morning I did my usual 2.2 mile loop and it took me 32 minutes, the next day I did the same loop and it took me 27 minutes. That made me happy! I'm not dreading running or exercising like I was due to being so out of shape. I do have to focus more on strength training. The weather is so nice so I want to be outside and not in the gym. I haven't weighed myself since my last Weight Watchers meeting about a month ago (I don't have a scale, but truthfully I kind of want to keep it that way.) but my clothes are starting to fit better and people have told me that it looks like I've lost weight. Woohoo! Just thought I'd write a quick update!
