Don't Always Believe What You Think
Saturday, May 09, 2015
Recently I have been ill. Not being on Spark for some time got me to thinking, "I don't need to be on Spark anymore. I am doing okay with it."
I sincerely thought I was doing okay.
Well, what I thought is NOT true. My husband told me, "Have you listened to how you are talking about yourself lately? You are not happy with yourself. You criticize yourself immediately after I give you a compliment."
He woke me up. I need my Spark Friends to keep me out of my stinking thinking. My Spark Friends help me to see the beauty in life. Yes, to see the uniqueness of me. To think and talk positive about myself because of all my Spark Friends' positive feedback. Yes, I do need Spark, because of all the friends and how willing they are to give of themself. No, I should not always believe what I am thinking.
