"A Journey of 50 lbs begins with a glass of water"

Every time I "get serious" about weightloss, I make this big plan that I'm going to follow and it lasts about 3 days. Then I blow it, feel discouraged and quit for another 5 lb gain.
So now I think I will just have a glass of water and go for a walk. Start with that. Every day.
I know it doesn't sound like there's much energy behind it, it's not inspiring. But if I don't get all fired up, then maybe I won't burn out. Maybe I've been going about this the wrong way for myself. Maybe I just need to build up the momentum. Slowly, A glass of water and a mile at a time.
