Osteopathic miracle

Wednesday, September 02, 2015

You know how I have been struggling, and the inability to walk very well has contributed to pounds. And, all my nurse friends have been predicting that I need a hip replacement, and I should see the doctor.

Well, today I did. I was resigned to finding out that my trip to New Zealand was probably off, and loss of wages while I try to get over the replacement of my original parts.

I had to press against his hand in very many directions, legs up, toes up, knees and on and on. And, then he twisted me in lots of directions. Then he said, step out here and sit down, we are going to X-Ray your hips and see what is going on.

I want it noted, that all the stupid clicking that has been going on did not happen in any of the doctor tests. I even told him of all the pains in all the different places.

So, the X-Ray showed that my hips have some interesting sharp edges on the socket housing the top of my femur. And, what I need, is physical therapy, and see how I am doing. He also told me that the way I get in and out of the car is probably wrong, I am to sit down and swing me legs in and reverse that to get out. No more going in sideways.

Wow, such relief. I'm generally good at therapy, and I hope that I can afford it. I told him that last year I walked over 500 miles, and this year, hardly any. He said my falls did not help. No hair line fracture. No hip replacement.

The pain really is probably related to arthritis, and I guess I should see one of those doctors. But, I should be able to get my walking back with 'strengthening my butt'. They want to stabilize the region so I stop pinching tissue in the sharp edges.

So here it is:

I need to become a tight ass!
