What's the problem here??

I talk about weight loss all the time. I've joined WW 4 times, lost half the weight but not yet met a goal. I've bought DVDs and weights....and not got past the 3rd week. I've started walking again and by the 2nd month I'm letting other things interfere. I've gotten active on Spark People 3-4 times since I joined in 2009
I've raised kids by myself, bought a house by myself, bought a new car and paid it of by myself. I quit smoking for good, cold turkey, 15 years ago. I've gone from data entry to manager by my own dedication and hard work.
I've proven my work ethic, my financial responsibility, my parental responsibility. But I cannot seem to prove to myself that I can stick to a personal goal. I have not made my goal unreachable. It's a reasonable 50 lbs. People lose a hundred pounds and more.
What's my problem? What should I be addressing here? Do I need counseling?
