Move it AND lose it!

My step-dad used to always say, "Move it or lose it!" I guess it just meant "Get out of the way." I am really needing to get more exercise in my day though so I need to move it and lose it! I'm going to do some self-coaching now.

You really are seeing that slow and steady wins the race! This is a point where you start to slack and get back into old habits. You've done a good job at getting back into the swing of things but I don't want you to lose the great habits you have established.

You might occasionally eat after 9pm but the choices are not bingeing and it's when you are truly very hungry and haven't eaten in several hours. It has not brought you over your weekly calorie allowance. It is not so much eating after a certain hour that I was concerned about but the habit of eating for the wrong reasons and eating the wrong things. So I feel that habit has been established enough to introduce a new one but don't stop working on the ones you already are doing!

The exercise for 10 minutes started out good but faded. You do get a lot of activity on your fit bit- around 8000 steps per day. That is great! And you take the stairs at every opportunity. Now that you are on the 3rd floor that is actually quite a bit! You made the step to join Planet Fitness which is much more convenient to you. But your schedule has been hectic. You've been overwhelmed. I want you to start working out! I want you to do 30 minutes 4 times a week to start.

We cannot ignore the reasons it is difficult to make time for the gym. You are feeling overwhelmed by household responsibilities. We cannot spend time working out and ignoring those. I want you to make a schedule and prepare your day. Make time for cleaning, bills, cooking, working out and relaxing.

Today, your goal is to make a schedule for the week. The goal for the rest of the week is to work out 2x for 1/2 hour.

You've totally got this! I wouldn't be surprised if you exceed your goals! You are such a driven person and you have a lot of motivation right now.
