Day #17 Stop Wasting Food
Some people grew up with the clean-your-plate rule and even as adults find it difficult to leave anything on their plate because it is a waste.
Of course not wasting food makes perfect sense and is important.
But a new way to look at it is that if you are filling your gas tank and it gets full, you wouldn't continue pumping, spilling fuel on the ground. So why would you do that to your body?

Every time you eat food your body doesn't need, you are wasting it!
You can eat it or you can throw it away, either way it is wasted!

Starting today, make a commitment that you will not waste food by putting it into your body.

Have a healthy happy day........

Good thought. I hate to waste food, but have started to just eat until I am satisfied. I try to eat much slower as I learned here on Spark, and even put my fork down between bites. We eat out a lot, where I have no control over the portions. I take home a lot of food, which my daughter and husband eat as leftovers. So sometimes a meal will feed three people. That's gotta tell you something about portions. At home I don't have that problem, because I measure food and track everything, and I eat one portion, but never until I am stuffed. Thank you and good luck with this challenge.
