Day # 19 Eat Reasonable Amounts
This I will say is probably one of my biggest downfalls.
I will admit that when I look at a canned item and it says "contains 7.5 servings" that my mind thinks "you are kidding!"
I am trying to get better about it but I do believe that because we are getting better at reading labels that the manufacturers are getting better at the confusion! If we only take a quick glance at calorie content and pick the lowest it may be low because it gives such a low serving size.
Personally, I'm still looking for that half of a person to ask over.
Every time I start a new 5% Challenge I get out the measuring utensils and food scale again and see once again that my idea of a serving is sometimes off! However with some vegetable items I elect to have larger amounts and adjust the servings.
Get out the measuring cups and food scale.......check the serving size!
